This photo shows the dry leaf of lemon verbena. This particular batch is from Frontier Coop; you can find reviews of this lemon verbena as brewed as an herbal tea on RateTea. I purchased this herb at Arrowroot Natural Foods in Bryn Mawr, PA.

Lemon verbena is one of my favorite herbal teas. I find it has a considerably more subdued lemony aroma, relative to lemongrass and lemon myrtle. It is most similar to lemon balm, but has a less vegetal aroma and qualities slightly more reminiscent of gingerbread or dried ginger. You can find more information on its use as an herbal tea on RateTea's page on lemon verbena as an herbal tea.
