These large red bell peppers were for sale at the Newark, Delaware farmer's market.

I like red peppers very much, but since I discovered this market, I have begun using them less, instead using some of the other ripe varieties of pepper, such as red (ripe) hot peppers and, when available, ripe cubanelles. These peppers are on the large side; as a single person, I find I prefer smaller fruit that I can use up all at once when slicing into.
