In Albums: nature birds Philadelphia

This photo shows a Magnolia warbler in fall, in a Dogwood tree, in Cobbs Creek Park, Philadelphia, near the Environmental Education Center.
This photo is interesting because it obscures most of the plumage details that are usually used to identify this bird, yet the bird is still identifiable. Note the bold white eye ring on a gray face, contrasting with a yellow-green back and black wings. The yellow underparts of this bird are barely visible on the right.
