Cleveland Skyline, Viewed From The Flats in album Cleveland

In Albums: Cleveland city

The tops of Cleveland's three tallest buildings, sticking out from over a rather plain looking bridge or roadway, with a parking lot in the foreground.

People often focus on particularly nice-looking views of city skylines, but those views are not always what we see. Most of the time we see only a partial view of the skyline, like in this picture.

I found this view amusing, with the three classic defining features of the Cleveland skyline peeking up above the rather plain-looking roadway pictured here. I find it somewhat cute how the three buildings peer over the road in this photo.

This picture was taken from the flats. If you are used to triangulating your distance by looking at the three buildings (something I got in the habit of doing shortly after I moved to Cleveland), you may have a good intuition as to exactly where this photo was taken from.
