This photo shows the dry leaves of Orchid Sprout Green Tea from Wild Tea Qi, a loose-leaf green tea. I received this tea as a sample from World Tea East. You can read my review of this tea on RateTea; this tea was absolutely exquisite. It was one of the best green teas I have tried in some time.
This tea originates in Sichuan (Szechuan) province in China, an area farther west than most of the better-known tea-producing regions. This tea looks superficially like dragonwell green tea, with long, flat leaves with a rather delicate texture. Upon brewing, however, it is quite different.
