This picture shows Knoel Scott playing Alto Saxophone in the Sun Ra Arkestra. During this performance, Knoel Scott surprised me with an acrobatic leap off the stage and proceeded to do cartwheels and dance, in a manner that looked strongly influenced by Capoeira, to the rhythm of the music played by the rest of the Arkestra. This man is in impressive shape for someone of his age, in addition to being an outstanding jazz musician.

This photo was taken during a free outdoor concert in Philadelphia, in the park on the northwest corner of the University of Pennsylvania campus, near the corner of 40th and Walnut streets.
