From Rishi Tea

This is an organic white peony (Bai Mu Dan / Pai Mu Tan) tea from the Fujian province of China. The leaves are greenish, slightly wiry, and have a few silvery and olive-colored leaves mixed in.

The brewed tea is amber in color. The aroma is bold and peppery without being sharp; it almost suggests celery, but without the fresh vegetal notes that this type of tea often has. There's not much bitterness but there's a bit of sourness. This tea is extremely full-bodied.

I am not a fan of this tea. It's EXCEPTIONALLY cheap, however, especially given that this type of tea tends to be expensive, and this one is organic. People who like white teas will probably not like this one; it's quite atypical of its style, and of white teas in general.
