This green tea has a smoky aroma, less so than gunpowder tea but nonetheless quite smoky. The smoky character is bold without overpowering the other aspects of the tea. The aroma also has some intricate aspects to it. The tea is much less bitter than the aroma would suggest, and it has a cool and clean aftertaste. I like this one very much, and it is very inexpensive!
I recommend to drink it on its own, as opposed to having it with food. The complexities of the aroma can easily get covered up by other flavors.
