A pair of Saucony Jazz Low Pro Vegan Sneakers, Green, showing coarse green upperparts in a classic retro style, and hard black rubber sole with big triangular treads, on a hardwood floor

This photo shows a pair of Saucony Jazz Low Pro Vegan shoes, green.

The Saucony Jazz Low Pro is a classic retro-styled sneaker with a relatively flat sole, which I find is comfortable as it allows for a more natural gait, in contrast to modern running shoes with an elevated heel. This photo shows the bottom of one of the shoes; the sole is hard rubber and has coarse triangular treads. I find these treads produce very firm traction on rough surfaces like concrete, but relatively less traction on very smooth surfaces like a hardwood floor.

If you look at the shoelaces, you will see that this shoe has two separate colors of shoelaces. One thing that I love about the Saucony Jazz and Jazz Low Pro sneakers is that they come with two pairs of shoelaces, in two of the different colors represented in the shoe. Although it is possible to lace the shoe with both pairs of laces, this is cumbersome, and I usually use only one pair of laces and keep the others for later. Not only does the extra pair of laces give different options for style and fashion, but I find the extra pair to be immensely practical as well: I typically wear out a pair of laces well before I wear out a pair of sneakers, so the extra pair saves me a later trip to (and expenditure at) a store to buy replacement laces.
