A sign in a supermarket reading: Must Buy 5, Limit 4 per family

Aug 19th, 2006, by Alex Zorach

This is a sign fail in the Pathmark supermarket in Newark, DE. The special on pasta reads: "Must buy 5" but also reads: "Limit 4 per family". Presumably, this means that you cannot buy more than 4 sets of 5. However, to me, it looks almost like the supermarket is trying to weasel their way out of the discount through deceptive advertising...read the fine print, you can't actually get this discount!
