From Two Leaves and a Bud
This is a teabag tea. It is advertised as "whole leaf tea in a teabag" but the leaves are in reality broken. Like most darjeelings, the leaves are diverse in color, ranging from a deep reddish brown to a light olive-green. It is organic.
The aroma is actually somewhat interesting, and has some complexity. This is one tea where the flavor sinks to the bottom of the cup.
This tea is extraordinarily expensive. Even buying in quantity, it is at least 35 cents a cup. For this price you can purchase truly outstanding loose teas.
