This tea is made of very fine, greenish particles of leaves.
After brewing as instructed (1 min. only at a lower temperature) it is a deep brown color. It is surprisingly aromatic. The aroma is earthy and bold, with a fresh, crispness, and some nutty tones (as advertised!). There's a hint of bitterness and a moderate amount of astringency in the flavor.
Bottom line? Pretty good, and amazingly cheap.
