This is a good hojicha, exactly what I would expect from this style. A warm, roasted aroma, fairly mellow, with only a little bitterness. Not terribly complex.
Very reasonably priced. This is by no means the most complex hojicha I have had, but it is definitely among the better ones, and it is also one of most inexpensive among the better ones.
