Wooden Playground at James Buchanan Elementary

A wooden playground with some metal parts and a big yellow twisting slide, in a bed of mulch, in the middle of an asphault playground

This photo shows the wooden playground at James Buchanan Elementary School in Lancaster, PA. This is the school that I attended for elementary school, and I have memories of playing on this playground, although it was built towards the end of my time there. It looks similar to how I remember it, although I do not recall the big yellow slide.

This photo does not bring back nearly as many memories as the other photo of the playground, which shows the school itself, and shows the paved parts of the playground where I actually spent more time. I recall that the classes were broken up in half and half of us were allowed to play on the new playground on some days and half on the others, so, given that most of my time in elementary school was spent without this equipment, and of the rest of the time, half the time we weren't allowed on it, I didn't spend all that much time on it.
