Wild Hops and Jewelweed in album plants

In Albums: plants White Clay

A wild hop vine, with rough, deeply lobed leaves, and jewelweed, leafing out in spring together in an area with dead straw-like leaves

May 5th, 2006, by Alex Zorach

This photo shows a wild hop vine, and also shows jewelweed, both leafing out in spring. Both of these plants like wet areas; jewelweed especially has a high water requirement.

This photo was taken in White Clay Creek State Park in Newark, DE.
