Flowering Tree (Bradford Pear?) Damaged by Ice: in album plants

In Albums:
plants

A flowering tree with white blossoms, with most of its branches broken off and scattered about the ground, in a suburban commercial area
Apr 28th, 2005, by Alex Zorach

This is a photo of a flowering tree, I think a Bradford pear, but I am not sure, after an ice storm, in Beachwood, Ohio. The ice weighed down the branches of the tree, which broke under the weight. This tree shows extensive damage, some of the worst I saw on a tree of this size while traveling around after the storm.

The background shows a typical scene of the suburban wasteland that is Beachwood, Ohio.
