Talcott Light, Oberlin College
In Albums: Oberlin night shadows

This photo shows a light on the outdoor porch of Talcott, a dormitory on the campus of Oberlin college that also houses the Kosher co-op, and, while I was in school, housed a small dining hall.
I took this photo because the light cast a beautiful, complex, symmetrical geometric pattern as its shadow. I suspect that this design was intentional, rather than accidental...the light shows rather ornate iron working, and the shadow is probably a function of deliberate design.
