Pineapple Fruit: in album produce

Whole pineapple for sale at the Newark, Delaware Farmer's market.
I find fresh pineapple to be delicious, a world apart from canned pineapple. It is consistently good; I have never had a bad experience with fresh pineapple.
Also notable, the top of a pineapple fruit is an actual new plant; you can grow a new pineapple plant by planting the top in a pot (or if you live in a tropical region, in your garden).
