Laird Campus Bridge, University of Delaware

This is the Laird campus bridge on the University of Delaware's campus. I think I took this photo looking north at the south end of the bridge, but I'm not sure.
UD has a separate north part of their campus, called the Laird Campus, which is quite far from the main campus, and which is separated by a rather large ravine that cuts quite low. This part of the campus does not have any classroom buildings, but has a number of dorms, including apartments inhabited mostly by juniors and seniors, a dining hall, a few common areas, and the on-campus hotel. When I first started as a graduate student at UD, this part of the campus was not connected by this bridge. To get to and from this part of the campus on foot, one needed to walk downhill and then uphill, adding a rather strenuous and fairly long detour. The completion of this bridge was hugely popular among the students living on the north part of campus.
I also find this bridge very attractive looking, which is why I took this photo. I love the way I feel when I walk on this bridge or look at this bridge at night; something feels magical about it. I also like the way I feel when looking at this photo.
