A dollar bill on a table, with four quarters on it, and one penny
Jan 20th, 2011, by Alex Zorach

This photo shows a dollar bill, five quarters, and one penny, for a total cash value of $2.26.

I find this picture interesting, as the dollar bill looks just like they always have, from when I was a kid, as do the penny and one of the quarters. However, the other quarters are new, the state quarters, and look different. Something about this makes me think of change and the passing of time.

This photo was taken in Saxby's coffee shop in Newark, Delaware.
