These are the bricks that are used for the sidewalks and walkways through most of the University of Delaware's campus.

The bricks allow water to drain between them, and have deep gravel beds placed underneath them, which minimizes the runoff, helping both to prevent flooding and lessen the load of the City of Newark's storm sewer system.
